A Song From the Dark of Light – for Women’s Chorus and Piano

This is a contemporary lyrical piece for women’s chorus and piano, composed by Lisa Donovan Lukas. Ideal for recitals, concerts, worship and sacred settings, or any special performance occasion. Lyrics inspired from the poem by Elizabeth Pierce, as carved on her tombstone, Bath Abbey, England (d. February 18, 1671, aged 19).  This piece was premiered by the Cornell Women’s Glee Club and is dedicated to Dr. Byron Adams.
